Conversion Therapy

Conversion therapy is the practice of attempting to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity through therapy. The practice has been widely discredited by all of the major medical associations, but continues to be peddled by therapists all across the world. The practice leaves lasting effects on LGBTQ youth and often leads to depression, increased drug and alcohol abuse, and even suicide. One Million Kids For Equality is working with several state and national partners to end the practice of conversion therapy for youth across all 50 states.
