In many countries around the world, it is a crime or fundamentally unsafe to identify as LGBTQ. Thousands of youth are currently fleeing their home countries due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status, in search of safety, fair treatment, and freedom. One Million Kids For Equality works with a number of international organizations to help provide LGBTQ youth with advice, assistance, and strategies for reaching safety. Once to safety, we work with these youth elevate their stories through different media publications around the world so that other kids in similar situations know there is hope out there.
